The Azek Company is a company with divisions that manufacturing facilities for include decking and fascia, outdoor furniture, children's playground parts, bathroom dividers, and exterior house trim.
Major company changes:
- 2012: Acquired TimberTech, and brought on their decking, fascia, and railing lines and integrated them into the Azek outdoor product lineup
- 2018: Was corporately rebranded from "CPG International" to "The Azek Company".
- 2018: Acquired Versatex, and began using their manufacturing facilities to continue manufacturing PVC trim products
- Acquired Ultralox Interlocking railing company in 2018, and has brought on the Ultralox Interlocking system into the Azek railing line under the name "Impressions Rail Express"
- 2019: Rebranded all Azek decking and fascia products under the TimberTech name, splitting up decking lines into "Edge", "Pro", and "Azek" lines of decking.
- 2020: AZEK IPO announced on NYSE
Product changes:
- 2018
- Three new colors were introduced to the Azek Vintage collection: Weathered Teak, Coastline, and English Walnut.
- 6" wide boards were added to the Azek PVC Porch line (previously only 4" boards were available)
- TimberTech Impressions Express introduced as the new primary aluminum railing line for TimberTech
- Legacy line expanded to include Sapele
- 2019
- TimberTech's Tropical line was discontinued, and was replaced by the Reserve collection. Both were mid-tier variegated fully-capped composite decking and fascia products.
- Multi-width boards in the Vintage collection were introduced, allowing for more intricate designs in decking floorboards.
- Collated Cortex plugs were added in select colors
