RainEscape uses troughs mounted between joist bays, and downspouts that drain water from the troughs into a gutter system.
RainEscape is installed after the framing is in place, and before the decking is laid down.
The underside of the deck framing remains unimpaired, so paneling, lighting, or fans can be mounted to the underside of the deck.
